Apostille is a French word, meaning

“certification”. An Apostille is the name

for a specialized certification, issued by

the U.S. Secretary of State. The apostille

is attached to your original document

to verify its authenticity.  In 1961

various countries entered into the

Hague Convention. If the country of

destination of the Apostille does not

participate in the Hague Convention,

documents being sent to that country

can be “authenticated” or “certified”

The majority of the public sector has

limited knowledge about the Apostille

process.  In many instances, the first

time people hear of the word “Apostille”

is when they are told they need one.

People who have taken the route of

doing it themselves the first time are

almost always happy to have an

Apostille specialist do the next one.

They have, in many instances, wasted a

lot of time and money and the process

has taken longer than anticipated.

Speed and Accuracy.  While we do not

sacrifice quality, we do provide speed

and accuracy.  In many instances, we

can provide a 48-hour turnaround for

documents needed to be Apostilled in

Pennsylvania.

Our Apostille Agents are carefully

vetted, experienced and will handle

your transaction with professionalism.

We will strive to make sure your clients'

expectations are exceeded.   However,

we do rely on the various departments

that we send the document to and at

times we encounter vacations or other

situations that may hold up the

process.  It is for that reason that we

suggest you not buy tickets or make

reservations until the transaction is

completed.

It will expedite your process if you have

the following information:

1.  Country you are sending your

documents to;

2. List of documents which require an

Apostille or Certification;

3.  Your name, address and best contact

telephone number;

4. Your time frame - we respectfully

suggest you do not purchase tickets or

make travel reservations until your

transaction is completed.
